i love to embarrass people who are oh-so-thick-skinned. the lucky contestant today is BRA!like who was talking about spastic faces the other day? okay, before you guys start accusing me of being mean, this picture was not, i repeat, WAS NOT taken by yours truly but by her dear friend SASA! (i know she hates me calling her this) talk about true and loyal friendship. haha. on this day, bra was concentrating on eating her macs chicken wings. for the first time in many weeks, she didn't eat her favorite won ton mee! haha, i'm so proud of you bra!
i finally uploaded the few pictures i took at the beach at east coast when i was there with my family a few weeks ago. thank God for nature! the funny thing was that many people who saw these few pictures in my phone asked me where was it, at pasir ris? i was quite shocked cos most of em who asked lived near east coast. don't you guys know that there're huge sandcastles built there? sixers! the location's where we had our class bonding a few months back!
i was really impressed with the workmanship! especially the steps cos it was so detailed! i could never do anything like this.
went to queensway to get new training shoes yesterday. it always rains whenever i go to queensway! the last time was with lau. anyway, loads of people were there shopping and bargaining for the best prices cos of the great singapore sale. the discounts weren't that impressive anyway. it was quite a disappointing trip for me cos all nice designs did not have my size! in the end cos i was so desperate to get a pair, i had to buy this ugly pair of shoes which was a size 10 and it feels and looks like boots on me i tell you. but i've a feeling that i'll have to go back to get a new pair again cos it's way too high at the back and it feels uncomfortable wearing it. at least it was only $78 or my parents will scream! another sad thing was that i saw this really nice adidas bag which i couldn't buy cos my mum says it's too expensive and i've bought so many bags the past month already. sports brands are bloodsuckers i tell you. the bag was priced at $75 but the shopkeeper gave me $55 without me even bargaining any further. that's like a $20 cut! go to queensway to shop for sports wear please! anyway, the bag's purple inside which is so nice! but i don't think i'll buy it or i'll feel really guilty. and i didn't see my nice pair of nike dunks there at all! my hopes are dashed. argh. maybe it's just too nice and everyone else bought it already :(
went to bugis street after that and it was a totally creepy place. i can't believe that my brother dares to go there alone with his friends. there was s shop called con sex or something and it totally freaked me and my mum out. only adults 23 and above are allowed to enter. i don't know what the shop was about but i was grossed out anyway. and i saw these few men who looked like those-kinda-men coming out from the shop. anyway, why in the world was i there anyway? my brother has apparently changed his fashion sense (which i totally object!) and he was there shopping for some ah beng clothes (which i totally object!). he didn't buy anything in the end cos of me indirectly telling him how ugly those clothes were and my parents were not very happy with those stuff either. thank God! my brother was angry as usual but who cares. anything for not buying those ugly clothes!
i went to east coast to eat after that and i met rachel cham and her family. her brothers are SO CUTE i tell you. just in case you guys don't know and think i'm some desperate loser, her brothers are less than half my age, which means they're cute in the baby cute sense. gosh. i was walking and i saw this girl from the back view who has hair that's a definite rachel cham! and i called out to her immediately and she was so shocked to see me. haha. anyway, my family had a feast there cos my dad apparently felt rich that very evening and ordered so much food with the approval of me (GOD! HOW AM I GOING TO FAST?!) and i'm like his best eating partner in the family and he ordered two huge bowls of rice for me. i almost puked but i managed to finish it anyway (i rock!)
decided to go home after that but on passing the expo my mum caught side of tha banner that said JOHN LITTLE MEGA EXPO SALE! we were so going there i tell you and it was the last day and was ending in around two hours plus. my mum said that there wouldn't be much people and stuff to see but i do begged to differ. in the end, it was so packed and my mum was wrong. haha! and i chose this dri fit shirt for my brother which looked so much better on him than those ah beng clothes. gosh!
